Many artists have the tendency to collect things in the hopes that they will use them for something or end up transforming them into some piece of art. However, a lot of the time we end up accumulating so much that our collections ultimately end up in the bin a couple months or years later. This piece uses recycled printed mechanics that have been re programmed and modified to gradually cut away at strings. The strings pictured hold some of my collected objects that I convinced myself I would be able to repurpose.
